Marisol has led projects focused on addressing mental health disparities, advocating for policy reforms, and improving support for immigrant communities. She currently serves as a Commissioner on the Community Involvement Commission for the City of Seattle, advising on strategies for inclusive civic engagement. Her approach is rooted in community-led and evidence-based advocacy aimed at informing and shaping policy. She holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Finance & Budgeting from the University of Washington, equipping her with a deep understanding of the fiscal and structural systems needed to drive sustainable and impactful policy change.
