Liza leads the firm’s work on state and local policy, designing, improving, and implementing government programs, workgroups, and policy research.
Liza has leadership experience in many systems, including homeless response, workforce, post-secondary, and K-12 education. Her career has been dedicated to changing our systems so they work for people– and not the other way around. She previously led programs and teams at a nonprofit focused on creating more effective and just responses to family, student, and youth homelessness. Her expertise lies in leading organizations toward impactful system change, and she embraces values of equity, collaboration, and integrity. Her mission is to drive strategies that elevate communities, their needs, and their solutions. She has managed many interdisciplinary teams and projects, ensuring that collective efforts align with the very core of our values, and bringing diverse experiences together to foster a culture of inclusive excellence. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington.
