Their experience working in education, both in the nonprofit and higher education fields, has given her ample experience facilitating intercultural learning and development. They have also served as a trainer and facilitator leading diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives within public and private organizations. A longtime resident of the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma, WA, they hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, and a Master of Public Administration from Seattle University.
