Washington Trails Association Strategic Plan

BDS Planning & Urban Design facilitated board members, staff, volunteers, and members of the Washington Trails Association (WTA) to develop a five-year strategic plan. The resulting plan represents the combined efforts of more than 200 direct participants and 2,700 survey respondents. Over a six-month process, BDS helped WTA to develop their, vision, values, mission, goals, objectives, and key outcome measurements. The Plan ensures WTA will continue to preserve, enhance, and promote hiking opportunities in Washington state through collaboration, education, advocacy, and volunteer trail maintenance.
