Uncommon Bridges* facilitated Strategic Plans for DSA in 2011 and 2016. These multi-year processes included outreach to business leaders, social service agencies, neighborhood associations, downtown residents and workers, government employees, and elected officials. Internal planning sessions included task forces, influential community advisors, and the DSA Board of Trustees.
Our team designed the overall process, facilitated all planning sessions, synthesized issues, and guided the decision-making processes among key leadership. The process identified four fundamental assets for downtown Seattle:
In 2023, Uncommon Bridges facilitated the engagement of stakeholders within the Downtown Seattle Arts and Culture community to gain deeper insights into the challenges facing the sector, develop strategies for the DSA to actively support the recovery of downtown arts, and propose collaborative initiatives for fostering a vibrant arts and culture scene.
