We served as the lead facilitators and engagement consultants for the City of Vancouver to create a new Culture, Arts & Heritage plan – the city’s first in 20 years. The City sought to celebrate and invest in Vancouver’s unique identity, traditions, and interests in a way that enriches residents’ daily lives and grows the local creative economy. Working in collaboration with Framework, we facilitated an advisory committee comprised of diverse stakeholders from culture, arts, and heritage sectors, as well as local economic development, schools, and business associations. The outcome was a shared vision with prioritized recommendations for translating ideas into reality, which became a final plan adopted by the City Council in April 2018.
